Hong Kong actor Daniel Wu launches US$55 oral English course with interactive sessions

Famous US-born Hong Kong actor and filmmaker Daniel Wu has garnered extensive attention on Chinese social media following the launch of an English-language course aimed at teaching his fans authentic spoken English.

On February 26, Wu shared a video on his newly established social media account, “Daniel Wu Teaches English”, which has swiftly attracted over 200,000 followers across two major platforms. In this video, he announced the introduction of an online oral English course.

The course was meticulously developed in collaboration with Gaotu, a leading Chinese technology-driven education company, and is accessible through the company’s app.

Wu, 50, who was born and raised in California, is widely celebrated for his good looks and is regarded as one of the most proficient English-speaking stars within the Chinese film industry.
