J-pop boy band kicks out member after arrest in Hong Kong over indecent assault

Japanese boy band member Kenshin Kamimura has been charged with indecent assault in Hong Kong, prompting his management agency to fire him from ONE N’ ONLY.

Police received a report from a woman on Sunday night, alleging she was indecently assaulted by a 25-year-old man at a restaurant on Portland Street in Mong Kok.

A source confirmed the suspect was Kenshin Kamimura.

The insider said the alleged incident happened after the boy band held a fan meeting in Tung Chung where the victim served as an interpreter. The band members and others then went to the restaurant to celebrate.

The man was arrested the same day in Tsim Sha Tsui and was charged later.

Kamimura appeared in Kowloon City Court on Tuesday, facing one count of indecent assault.
