The Centre for Health Protection said on Tuesday that two groups of customers, comprising four women and two men, had lunch at the restaurant last Friday and developed symptoms of abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting and fever about nine to 22 hours after their meal.

“[Initial investigations] revealed that the affected persons had consumed common food and the food concerned was tiramisu,” a spokesman for the centre said.

“Officers initially suspected that the food concerned was made inadequately and was stored under improper temperatures.”

Two women, aged 41 and 45, fell sick about nine to 19 hours after having lunch at the restaurant on October 25.
