The drill will take place at the 5,000-seat Youth Sports Ground, one of the venues within the park, from 3.30pm to 8.45pm, according to Sau Mau Ping police district commander Kit Tse Tsui-wan.
“The primary objective of the test is to assess the capacity of the sports ground and its surrounding facilities,” she said.
Tse said the drill will include ticket checks, crowd control as well as managing entry and exit flows.
The exercise will cover two exit flow simulations, with participants divided into groups that will leave the venue and move towards Kai Tak and Sung Wong Tai MTR stations.

Another group will simulate a rainy day scenario, with participants using umbrellas.
In one of the scenarios, an attendee will role-play a medical emergency, with police and the ambulance called in the deal with the situation.
