A man has been found dead after a fire broke out at a public housing estate in Hong Kong, prompting the evacuation of more than 200 residents.
Police said they received multiple reports from 8.04am on Sunday about thick smoke billowing from an upper-floor flat at Mei Yu House in Shek Kip Mei Estate, Kowloon.
Firefighters arriving at the scene found the body of a man inside the affected flat. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
