Hong Kong police officer hurts hand after gun fired accidentally in station

A Hong Kong police officer injured her hand and was sent to hospital on Saturday after her gun was accidentally discharged in a station, the Post learned.

The officer was unloading her service pistol at Happy Valley Police Station when it accidentally fired one round at 3pm, a source said.

She injured her fingers and was sent to Ruttonjee Hospital in Wan Chai for treatment, the insider said, adding that no one else was hurt.
