A hotel in China which offers a special morning call service that allows guests to play with a lion cub in their room has attracted much attention on social media.

Videos of an employee showing a lion cub into a room at the Happy Countryside Resort in Niujiao Village in Suqian, eastern Jiangsu province, have gone viral online.
The clip shows the little big cat entering a guest room in the morning before a child guest picks it up and plays with it, according to a report by Jimu News.

The hotel has 20 rooms which provide the service and they cost 628 yuan (US$88) a night.
The lion cub morning-call service runs from 8am to 10am every day. Each session lasts for up to seven minutes, the report said.
To confirm an appointment, guests are required to sign an Asiatic Lion Wake-up Service Agreement.

The cub is always accompanied by a keeper and guests are advised to be careful about their safety, the hotel said.
